The Grain Committee coordinates and facilitates the trading of grain within the geographical area. The Merchants Exchange facilitates the needs of the Grain Committee and provides an independent and unbiased source for arbitration facilitation.

The Annual Merchants Exchange Grain Committee Golf Tournament is in June each year.
This tournament benefits the Merchants Exchange Scholarship Fund! Profit from this tournament goes to the Merchants Exchange Scholarship fund. Scholarships are awarded to multiple students who are pursuing careers in the Maritime Industry. Monetary donations will also be accepted and greatly appreciated. The Scholarship Fund is a 501(c) (3) organization and all direct donations are tax deductible.
